Sport and P.E.
In the Classroom -
Welcome back to the 2024 school year! We've made a really positive start to Term 1 in PE, with all classes from F-6 spending the first couple of weeks unpacking our classroom expectations and PE Values. As part of this focus, our students have been engaging in a number of games and activities that promote the values of Safety, Fairness, Teamwork and Positivity. Importantly, students are being encouraged to champion these values more consistently, prioritising these ideologies in place of focussing solely on sporting results or 'winning at all costs'. Ultimately though, it has been most pleasing getting to reconnect with so many familiar faces and meeting our many new students since the return to school. Special shout out to our newest Foundation students - who have made an enthusiastic and lively start to PE at BPPS.
Sporting Events -
Buses are booked and sunscreen is at the ready for the annual BPPS Swimming Trials, which will be taking place next Tuesday 13th February! Thanks to the many students who have registered to attend these trials as well as the generous parents who have volunteered to support on the day. I am very much looking forward to feeling embarrassed by the many students who are already far better swimmers than I am!

Superkick - (Ages 7-12): For the older kids that want to get a feel for playing footy without the pressure.
