✨ Find Your Spark – What a Six Weeks!

What a fantastic six weeks of our Senior School 'Find Your Spark' elective workshops!

Across two exciting workshop sets, our Year 5 and 6 students have had the chance to step outside the classroom, try something completely new, learn new skills and discover interests they may never have had the opportunity to explore.

From robotics, videography, musical theatre and skateboarding to baking, animal care, nursing, auto mechanics, acting and interior design, our students have cooked, created, designed, performed, built, tinkered and experimented their way through an incredible range of experiences!

But the real magic of Find Your Spark has been the people behind it. Our students have had the opportunity to learn from adults who generously shared their time, skills, passions and experiences. They have seen firsthand that learning can happen anywhere and that there are so many different things to be curious about and have a go at. Most importantly…they've had an absolute blast!

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our wonderful parent and community volunteers who made these workshops possible. A special shout-out to Adam Goldfinch, Fiona Goldfinch, Leith Rogers, Lauren Campbell, Angela Scundi, Dannika Beel, Kerry Fisher and Tommy Breaks from Curbside Coaching, who all so generously gave their time, energy and expertise.

We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm, creativity and care you brought to every session but perhaps even more so for the time you gave up from your already busy work and family lives, all completely voluntarily and for free! We know how valuable your time is and we truly appreciate the generosity it takes to give so much of it to our students.

We hope every student has walked away with a new skill, a new interest, a new connection or perhaps just a little spark of something they didn't know they loved, all thanks to you✨ 

We are incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people in our community who are willing to share their passions and inspire the next generation.
