Australian Rules Football

A fantastic year of Australian Rules Football is coming to a close and with that we have some terrific news. I would like to send out a huge congratulations to Lucus Irons who currently plays for Hillside 1 in the under 12 age group.
Lucas, a fierce competitor and very respectful student, has won the league best and fairest with 30 votes, smashing his closest challenger on 21 votes. This is an outstanding effort and a well deserve achievement that Taylors Lakes Secondary College is very proud of! Well done Lucas!
With just as exciting news, one of our superstar girls Isabell Chiera in year 8 has been accepted into the Western Bulldogs Academy. With this opportunity Isabella will be able to train and utilise the facilities the Bulldogs have at Mission Whitten Oval.
She will be with like-minded future stars, building relationships with some of the games greats and training with elite expertise in their fields. Isabella is an outstanding student with abilities beyond her years. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Isabella!!
A reminder to students that we have our Wednesday night sessions happening throughout the year.
A big congratulations and well done to Cooper, Alby and now FJ who turn up regularly and have been using their knowledge of the game to help our regular 7-9 students.
The turn outs have been great!
