SSV Girls Soccer

On 09/09/2025 our senior girls soccer team won a state championship. The girls played incredibly well to win 3 games in the group stage and then win the final on penalties.

It was a fantastic way for our year 12 girls to finish their 6 years in the academy with winning a trophy in their final game for the school.

Emotional moments they will never forget and will be talked about for years to come.

The team that played yesterday consisted of students from years 9-12 with everyone playing a part throughout the day, it perfectly reflects the power our soccer program has in building strong relationships and a community through sport which we are all proud to be a part of.

The last time our soccer program were state champions was back in 2019 with our year 7 boys, this shows how difficult this is to achieve and outlines the current success of our girls program in the soccer academy.

Hats off to the girls on an achievement that everyone involved in their journey will be proud of. The girls that played are listed below. If you teach these girls, please congratulate them on an amazing achievement!!
