Principal's Report

As our Year 12 students conclude their formal schooling at Nazareth College, we pause to acknowledge and celebrate their remarkable journey. The graduating Class of 2026 has embraced the opportunities and challenges of College life with resilience, perseverance and courage. Through their learning, leadership, service and participation, they have made a lasting contribution to our Community and leave a legacy of which they can be proud.
As a Catholic school, we hope our students leave Nazareth with more than academic knowledge. We hope they carry with them a deep understanding of the Gospel values that have shaped their education, recognising their responsibility to serve others, act with compassion and make a positive difference in the world around them. Throughout their time at the College, our students have been encouraged to live their faith through action, giving back to their communities and standing in solidarity with those in need. We trust these values will continue to guide them as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
As they now prepare for their final examinations, we wish them every success. We encourage them to approach this important milestone with confidence, knowing that their hard work and commitment have prepared them well. While examinations are significant, they do not define our students. Their character, integrity, faith and willingness to contribute to the common good are equally important measures of success.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to the many staff members who have supported our students over the years. From teachers and learning support staff to wellbeing, administration and operational teams, every member of our College Community has played a role in nurturing, challenging and encouraging our young people. Their dedication, care and commitment have helped shape the capable, confident and faith filled graduates we celebrate today.
On behalf of the entire Nazareth College Community, we wish our Year 12 students every blessing for their examinations and every success in the future. May they continue to live their faith with courage, use their gifts in service of others, and strive to make a meaningful contribution to their communities wherever life may lead them.
I would also like to acknowledge and thank our 2026 College Captains, Daniel Farr, Ananya Ghose, Alicia Rasool and Vishwanathan Sreekanth, for their outstanding leadership throughout the year. They have been exceptional representatives of the student voice, leading with integrity, enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to their fellow students. Through their advocacy, service and the introduction of a number of valuable initiatives, they have made a meaningful contribution to College life and helped foster a strong sense of Community. Their dedication to living the values of Nazareth College and encouraging others to contribute positively to our College community has been greatly appreciated.
Stay safe and God bless
