World Youth Day 2027

World Youth Day (WYD) 2027 is approaching. Major events of World Youth Day include the Papal Welcome, catechesis, and youth festivals, as well as the final pilgrim walk and vigil with Pope Leo and millions of other young Catholics.

Many excited pilgrims from the Archdiocese of Melbourne will be preparing for the journey to Seoul, South Korea at regional gatherings and leadership formation sessions early next year.

It is hoped that pilgrims (16 years old and over) from our school community will be attending WYD next year, 3 - 8 August,  2027.

A local faith opportunity for students 16 years and older to attend is the Chosen Conference. Students have the choice of participating in 1, 2 or 3 days at the Chosen Conference. Chosen is a four-day Catholic conference (19 - 22 November) in Melbourne for young Australians who are open to encountering God in a real and personal way.

Hosted by Jesus Youth Australia, the conference brings together teens, young adults and young couples aged 16 to 35 from across the country. The conference includes worship, talks, prayer, Mass, Adoration, workshops and rallies, but the highlight is the community.

Students interested in these events can contact Mr Stewart via email (peter.stewart@nazareth.vic.edu.au).

✟May we pray, that we be open to how God is calling us

in our lives on our own journey of faith.

Holy Family of Nazareth,

be our inspiration and our guide.

Jesus of Nazareth,

help us to grow in Faith, Wisdom and Knowledge
