Year 4 students wrote letters pretending to be a child convict who was sent to Australia. We wrote to a pretend person ‘back home in England’ to show how much we have learnt about the conditions on the voyages of the First Fleet and what it was like on arrival in Sydney Cove in 1787 – 1788.
