ANZAC Day Kalinga Park March

Junior and Senior school students are encouraged to attend the ANZAC Day service at Kalinga Park on Saturday 25 April, a long‑standing community event that has been attended by the Clayfield community and surrounding suburbs for over 100 years. It would be wonderful to see as many Clayfield College students as possible attend and march together as a school. 

 

  • Location: Kalinga Park  
  • Time: 6:45am for a 7:00am Service   
  • Date: Saturday 25 April  

     

Students are asked to meet Mr Marshall and Mrs Podoliak at the corner of Park Avenue and Kalinga Street from 6:45am. Students are required to wear their full summer formal uniform (including hat) to represent Clayfield College with pride.

Opus 1

We invite you to join us for the Annual Opus 1 Music Concert.  The P&F will be selling drinks and a sausage sizzle from 5:15pm in the Tuckshop Courtyard, with the concert commencing at 7:00pm. Cheeseboxes will also be available for pre‑purchase via the link below.

P&F Mother's Day Stall

Our P&F Friends of Junior will be hosting the Mother’s Day Stall on Friday 8 May, featuring a lovely range of gifts for students to purchase for their loved ones. Gifts are priced between $5 and $20 and will be purchased using pre‑purchased tokens. The P&F Mother's Day Stall Catalogue will be available for viewing in the coming weeks. Please ensure tokens are purchased in advance via the link provided.

He holds a PhD in Psychology and is best known as the parenting expert and co‑host of Channel Nine’s Parental Guidance. He is also the founder of Happy Families, host of Australia’s most‑downloaded parenting podcast, and the author of multiple bestselling books on raising children.

 

Topic: Parental Guidance

The importance of connection between parents/caregivers and young people.

 

This is a complimentary parent event. The content will be suitable for parents and caregivers with students in the Upper Junior and Senior School.

P&F Junior School Disco

The Clayfield College P&F Association is excited to be hosting the Junior Disco, open to Clayfield College Junior School students and siblings of current Clayfield College Junior School students. Numbers are limited and registration is essential.

Date: Friday 22 May 2026

Time: 5:00pm to 7:00pm

Location: Clayfield College Assembly Hall

Year Levels: Pre-Prep to Year 6

 

Theme: Under the Sea - Dress up as mermaids and mermen, tropical fish, sharks, octopus or jellyfish, seahorses, turtles, dolphins, crabs, pirates or scuba divers. Ocean colours, shimmering fabrics, shells, sparkle and glowing accessories are perfect for creating a fun sea themed look.

 

Cost: $15 entry (student only) - includes a party pack with Sausage Sizzle, Water bottle, Popcorn & Glow Sticks plus the Disco entry and Face Painting.

Pre order additional sausages for students (one sausage on bread included in entry ticket) at checkout!

 

Parents/Carers FREE entry

We welcome all parents and caregivers to stay and enjoy the evening with a P&F Bar open for drink sales on the night plus access to the Sausage Sizzle, though note it is a condition of entry that Pre-Prep and Prep Parents stay for the duration of the event.

 

Conditions

  • Event open to children that attend Clayfield College (Pre-Prep to Year 6).
  • Event open to siblings of Clayfield College students, so long as they are toilet trained and comfortable to be left in the care of others.
  • Parents/caregivers must pre-register their children, so that adequate levels of P&F volunteer supervision can be arranged, and dietary requirements provided.
  • Parents/caregivers must sign-in their children from 5:00pm (Assembly Hall), and sign-out their children (Assembly Hall) by no later than 6:30pm (Pre-Prep and Prep), 6:45pm (Years 1 to 3) and 7:00pm (Years 4 to 6).
  • Parents/caregivers of students in Pre-Prep and Prep must remain on-site throughout the event.
