We thank those who have nominated and are willing to contribute their time and expertise.

The first meeting of our new School Council will be held on Monday 23rd March, where positions on School Council will be elected, along with the co-option of Community Members. We look forward to working with our new Council to support the continued growth and success of our school.
Year 7 Camp
It was wonderful to hear from so many of our Year 7 students about the fantastic time they had at camp. Our Year 7 camp was held at Lord Somers Camp on the Mornington Peninsula, providing students with the opportunity to build on new friendships and take part in a range of engaging and challenging activities. Camps are an important part of the school experience, helping students develop confidence, resilience and strong connections with their peers. A big thank you to all the staff who attended and helped ensure our students had such an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Learning Conferences
Learning Conferences will be taking place in a few weeks’ time on Wednesday 1 April. Learning Conferences are an important opportunity for students, parents and teachers to come together to discuss learning progress, celebrate achievements and identify areas for growth. These conversations help ensure that students remain engaged in their learning and that meaningful goals are set for the remainder of the semester. We encourage both students and parents to attend the conferences with the teacher to hear feedback on progress and help set meaningful goals for the rest of the semester. Further information about Learning Conferences will be sent out to families in the coming weeks.
Planned Stop Work Action – Tuesday 24th March
The AEU has advised the Department of Education that the vote to take industrial action has been successful and stop work action will proceed on Tuesday 24th March. I will provide further communication to our school community once it is clear how many staff at our school will be taking industrial action and the potential impact on programs at the school.
