The King's College is a member of the Kwinana Industry Council Education Development Program, which aims to expose high school students in the region to the sorts of careers available in industry and help them understand how they might aspire to these careers.
We are very proud to announce that one of our students, Alex M. (Year 10), was successful in obtaining a spot in the highly competitive IScience program. Alex was also one of only 6 students from the program to be awarded a Scholarship from Murdoch University.

Secondary Inter-School Swimming Carnival
Our students participated in our recent Inter-School swimming carnival. These students were selected based on their impressive results from the inter-house carnival. Despite facing tough competition and many students being unable to attend on the day, they stepped up and tried their hardest throughout each event.
As a whole school, we were not successful in winning, yet multiple individual achievements came from the day. In each age group, there were top 5 student champions who performed and scored the best overall at the events in their division. These students were:
- Felicity H. (7I) who placed 4th in U13, is female.
- Jayde M. (9K) who placed 2nd in U15 Female.
- Jakob M. (9K) who placed 5th in U15 Male.
Congratulations to Felicity, Jayde and Jakob for this impressive achievement.
Primary Interschool Swimming Carnival
Our Year 4 to 6 students represented the College at the Primary WACSSA Interschool Swimming Carnival this week! We finished 4th, with the following students getting medals in their year levels!
- Mael S. (4B) - Champion Boy
- Dominic H. (5B) - Runner Up Champion Boy
- Jaimee M. (6B) - Runner Up Champion Girl
