Student Voice

The College Student Leadership Team stands as a cornerstone in fostering a vibrant and inclusive college community, embodying the voices and aspirations of their peers. Their significance lies not only in their ability to represent student interests but also in their capacity to drive positive change within the college environment. Through regular meetings with The College Captains and dedicated training sessions, these student leaders cultivate essential skills in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration.

 

A Message from our College Captains

Eairn Santos & Beckham Cust 

Beckham and I are thrilled to announce a fundraising initiative to beat the heat and provide much-needed shade around our beloved basketball court! 

 

After much deliberation with our Student Leadership Team, we chose the basketball court area because we thought that it was a much-needed addition, especially in the summer months. We're excited to host a series of Sausage Sizzles and Milo Days throughout Term 2 to help fundraise for this. Proposed dates for these fundraisers are:

Student Leadership Training

National Young Leaders Day 

Our Year 6 Student Leaders attended the National Young Leaders Day run by the Halogen Foundation on 20 March. They were inspired by the leadership journeys of some of Australia's most high-profile people and aimed to develop their own future leadership potential. 

GRIP Conference | Secondary Leaders

Our Secondary Student Leadership team attending the GRIP Conference.  College Captain Beckham said, "The GRIP Conference was a really engaging conference, giving me a lot of advice on leading and working with a group. I really hope we can implement some of the ideas from the conference to make our school even more exceptional."
