Primary Years Update

Welcome back to Term 2, especially those new families starting at Good News. I hope that you have had a relaxing break.

I would encourage you all to take advantage of a great opportunity to attend a free parent session with Mark Le Messurier on Monday 15 April at 7pm, where he will delve into helping parents navigate the increasing use of devices.

I would like to thank all those parents who booked in and came along to the Three-way Conferences which were held across the last two weeks of Term 1. It was a great opportunity for the students to share their learning so far and set goals for the remainder of the year.

This term swimming lessons continue with Year 3 beginning on 22 April and Year 2 on 29 April. 

Hats are not required to be worn in Term 2 and I encourage parents to check that their children are wearing black school shoes on all days except for the day of the PE lesson. As the weather gets cooler navy stockings can be worn under the college skort for added warmth. Black leggings are not an approved uniform item. There are still many Primary Years uniform items, particularly half-zip fleece tops available. Please talk to Admin staff for more details. Looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 16 April.
