Welcome Back to Term 2

We hope all families had a relaxing break and that students are feeling refreshed and ready for a fantastic Term 2. It’s been wonderful to see everyone return with a positive attitude and readiness to learn.

Year 8 Camp

Expressions of Interest for the Year 8 Camp are now open.Parents and carers should refer to their direct messages from Fiona Rowe to access the link and submit their child’s interest.Due date: Friday 8th May.

If you have any questions, please contact the Year 8 Office. We are looking forward to what will be a fantastic camp experience for our students.

Reminders

A few important reminders to help students stay organised and make the most of their school day:

• Please be in your form group by 8:50am to ensure you receive important daily notices

• Mobile phones must be turned off and kept in lockers during the school day

• Any spare locker keys should be given to Year 8 coordinators

• Come prepared with the correct equipment and a fully charged laptop - organisation is key to success

• As the colder weather approaches, students are reminded to wear their Horsham College jackets. 

Please note that hoodies are not part of the school uniform.

Celebrating Success

At our recent school assembly, we were proud to recognise several students for their achievements and contributions:

• Gowri Pidaran Sukumaran and Emma Batchelor were presented with their SRC badges. We thank them for representing the Year 8 cohort.

• Ella Bailey received the HAWK Allrounder Award

• Milla Webb and Tayte Newton were awarded the Horsham College Values Award

• Archie Stehn received the Horsham College Community Award

Congratulations to all of these students on their well deserved recognition. We look forward to seeing all students continued contributions throughout the term.
