Work Experience - Week 4
Work experience will be held in week 4 of this term. This is for students who are completing their Careers class this semester. Students should have organised the work place they intend on completing their work experience by now. If they are yet to do this, the need to see our Careers coordinator ASAP to organise.
All Yr 10 classes during this week are cancelled for all other Yr 10 students, so they are not required to attend school. If students complete a VCE subject they are expected to attend these classes as normal. All VET students are still expected to attend their classes on the Wednesday which will also run as normal
AFL Academy Camp
Our Yr 10 AFL Academy students attended a Camp in Melbourne and Ballarat last Thursday and Friday. Students visited the Western Bulldogs facility touring the players facilities, whilst completing a leadership educational component. They attended the Western Bulldogs v Sydney Swans match at Marvel Stadium getting up close interaction with Swans star Charlie Curnow!
Attended MARS stadium in Ballarat where they toured the facilities and learnt all about the talent pathway and what attributes were required to chase their dreams. Finishing up with a priming session at the RAD Centre in preparation for their weekends matches.
A valuable experience for all students involved!
