Members of the P&FA have been busy helping Rosies Oblate Youth Mission these holidays. This followed on from Rosies Co-ordinator Clarisse's presentation at our last meeting and in response to Father Harry's call to action in last month's newsletter. 

It was an enthusiastic group of Mazenod staff and mums who gathered on a cold Wednesday night to learn the ropes and then assist the Rosies' team in offering hot drinks and conversation to the homeless at Federation Square.  

Many of the regular 'streeties' turned up and the new volunteers enjoyed this rewarding experience- all of them are looking forward to the next time they can go out with the Rosies crew again.  As many of us have sons approaching Year 12, we will definitely be encouraging them to take up the offer to partake in this experience during their final year at Mazenod and hopefully beyond!
