Congratulations to Gabriel Poirier (Year 10), who has achieved remarkable success in the 72nd Queensland Science Contest. Gabriel earned 1st Prize in the Classified Collections (Division 6) category for his project titled “East Canadian Fossils of Palaeozoic.”

This is a significant statewide competition run by the Science Teachers Association of Queensland. Gabriel’s work stood out for its careful research and thoughtful presentation of fossil specimens, showcasing both scientific skill and passion.

Our school community is incredibly proud of Gabriel’s hard work and dedication to science. His success highlights the talent and enthusiasm of our students and serves as inspiration for others who are exploring their own scientific interests.
