Annual Bouldering Festival 2025

All year 7, 8 and 9 students are invited to attend the Annual Bouldering Festival 2025 held on 9Degrees Bouldering Gym at 72 Pickering Street, Enoggera on Wednesday 3rd December (Week 9).  

This is an amazing opportunity for our students to showcase, socialize and test their climbing skills outside the LTC as well as win prizes. Teaching and non-teaching staff will accompany the class on the excursion. 

To confirm attendance your son/daughter need write their full name and email in the Expression of Interest List that is located in the LTC Staff-room. This excursion has limited spots due to venue capacity of 90 students.

The closing date for the EOI is Nov 18 (next Tuesday).

Parents or guardians will receive the excursion’s consent (via Qparent) to be signed and returned along with required payment by Nov 27.  

Excursion Details: Annual Bouldering Festival.

Educational Aim: Social Skills, confidence and performance of climbing practice. 

Date: Wednesday 3rd of December 2025 (Week 9). 

Venue: 9Degrees Bouldering Gym (72 Pickering St. Enoggera – QLD.)  Climbing shoes will be provided onsite.  

Itinerary Details:  Charted bus transport leaving 9am from The Gap SHS and back by 2.15pm; Climbing gym daily pass; Climbing shoes and chalk; Prizes.    

Dress and Site Information: Sports Uniform, closed in sports shoes. Welcome to bring personal climbing shoes and chalk bag. 

Meal Arrangement: Snacks and drinks can be purchase on the venue. 

Excursion Cost: $41 per student (payment due date: 27/11/2025)
