Book Week Competition

Wheelers Hill Secondary College held its Book Cover and Book Review Competition to celebrate students’ creativity, imagination and love of reading. Students were invited to design their own book covers of a novel or write a thoughtful review to showcase their understanding and appreciation of what they read. Awards were presented for the best-drawn covers and the most insightful book reviews, recognising both artistic talent and the ability to engage deeply with a text.

The competition highlighted the school’s strong commitment to fostering a culture of reading and literacy. By encouraging students to express their ideas visually and in writing, Wheelers Hill Secondary College continues to promote critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of books.
