Australian Maths Competition

This year, we had students from years 7 – 11 competing in the Australian Mathematics Competition. The competition aims to empower students to become better problem solvers, enabling them to be creative solution finders in the field of mathematics. 

There were a number of outstanding results for our college, with Addisyn B (year 7) and Amalea O (year 8) both receiving a High Distinction, which means they are in the top 3% of students for their age across the country! Japjot G (year 7) and Bhuvi C (year 9) also both received Distinctions, placing them in the top 20% of students. Ali Gi, Steele H, Nathan U (year 7), and Raymond N (year 8) all received credit results, placing them in the top 50%. 

All students who participated will receive certificates in upcoming Year Level assemblies to celebrate their achievements
