Learn more about Clayfield Swimming Programs
Clayfield Swimming’s Learn to Swim program offers children a safe and supportive introduction to the water, helping them build confidence, develop water safety skills and strengthen stroke technique through a clear, progressive pathway. Based at the Clayfield College heated 25m pool, the program supports swimmers of all levels in an encouraging environment.
With small class sizes, qualified instructors and a strong focus on skill progression, the program helps each child develop at their own pace while enjoying the process of learning.
Led by Swimming Supervisor, Clare Cattanach, Learn to Swim places emphasis on building strong technical foundations from an early age, while also fostering water confidence, physical literacy and a positive experience in the pool. The program also offers families a clear pathway for continued progression as children grow in skill and confidence.
From 12 months of age, Clayfield Swimming offers a range of programs from Learn to Swim through to Student Squads, along with Adult Fitness and Squads.
