Luminous Lunch Music Performances
Congratulations to Allegria Strings and the Ragazzi Boys’ Choir on their outstanding performances at the Luminous Lunch held at the Calile Hotel last Friday. Our students performed with remarkable professionalism, showcasing both musical excellence and poise in a prestigious setting. They represented the school with pride and were warmly received by attendees.
Piccolo Choir and Junior String Ensemble Collaboration
Last Saturday, Piccolo Choir and Campo delle Voci joined forces with the Junior String Ensemble 1 (QYO) for a special performance at the Old Museum Building. Students performed alongside the string ensemble and in their own choral items, representing the College with pride. It was a truly beautiful and memorable occasion for performers and audience alike.
Canzona, Ragazzi and Ciao Bella Collaboration with BBC
Monday evening was a truly special occasion as our ensembles Canzona, Ragazzi and Ciao Bella joined forces with BBC for a memorable collaborative performance. This shared musical experience provided a wonderful opportunity for students from both schools to connect, learn from one another and create something truly inspiring together.
European Music Tour – Bon Voyage!
We extend our very best wishes to our music students who depart this week on their European Music Tour. Their journey will take them through France, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Germany, where they will experience diverse musical traditions and perform on the international stage. We wish them safe travels and an enriching and unforgettable musical adventure.
Private Music Tuition Billing
Fees for Private Music Tuition for Term 2 will be charged to each student’s billing account in the Term 3 invoice.
Should parents decide to withdraw their child from Private Tuition, it’s imperative that the Music Department is informed. Failing to cancel lessons in a timely manner will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 2 weeks of lessons. To avoid this, please ensure you send a withdrawal notification via email to music@clayfield.qld.edu.au by the end of Term 2.

Irish Dancing - Clayfield’s ‘Shuffling Shamrocks’
Irish Dancing lessons are available for students from Year 1 onwards who would like to learn this traditional artform. To register, please email Mr Walker at awalker@clayfield.qld.edu.au.
