Principal's Message
Karen Anderson - Acting Principal
The academic year is concluding. End of Semester 2 reports will reflect demonstration of key knowledge and skills and provide strategies for future success…Congratulations to all students on their achievement and learning growth. For our graduating class, we hope that Thursday 13 November was a memorable celebration of three years of learning and achievement.
Orientation Day last Tuesday was an opportunity for us to welcome new students to the school, enrolled for 2026. We are also looking forward to the three way conversations early in Term 1, so we can continue to develop our understanding of your child and how we can best challenge and support them next year.
The PLSC student and parent/carer 2026 calendar will be available shortly.
I will conclude as Acting Principal at the end of this term. I sincerely wish students and the school all the best in future endeavours and hope that the foundation built in preparation for 2026 proves to be a strong one! Details in regards to the composition of Principal Class team will be confirmed upon the commencement of Term 1.
As I write, we are in the Gunyang/Kangaroo apple season of the annual Eastern Kulin Seasonal Calendar, as described by Wurundjeri traditions. This time sees more hours of daylight and sometimes thundery weather. I don’t know that we have ripening kangaroo apple fruit on the grounds but we do have rabbits and foxes!
I wish you and your family all the best for a safe and enjoyable break…
