National Brass Band Championships

Three members of our Trinity band community will be travelling to New Zealand this Easter to compete in the NZ National Band Championships in Wellington. Forty bands will be represented at the competition.

Harley Gurr started learning trumpet with the Training Band when in Year 6, before transferring to tuba in Year 8. Harley has gone ahead in leaps and bounds with his music, completing AMEB Grade 4 and playing in the Alexander Wind Ensemble at Border Music Camp last year.

Conducting Wodonga Brass will be Trinity’s Director of Bands, Mrs Fenella O’Sullivan.  Fenella has conducted bands at Trinity since 2023, progressing our ensembles to three streamed ensembles who have performed at assemblies, Anzac Day services, Trinity Carols and the Albury Wodonga Eisteddfod. Also accompanying the group will be Mrs McMillan, who will trade her trumpet for a cornet on this occasion.

Good luck to the Wodonga Brass Band!

Trinity students taking the stage

Some of our talented Performing Arts students will be taking the stage in Livid Productions’ upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

This vibrant and entertaining musical blends pop, rock, country and calypso to tell the story of Joseph - a dreamer whose journey from adversity to triumph continues to inspire audiences of all ages.

Performances will be held on 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 March at the Albury Entertainment Centre. Tickets can be booked via their website HERE
