Team News
After 12 months of hard work our two teams hit the track for our grand finale in Maryborough, but we arrived as Junior Open State Champions for the very first time.
OUR FIRST STATE TITLE
2025 has ended as our most successful on track season ever. As a team our major focus for the year was to improve and develop our race craft along with our training standards, and with the single goal of achieving a race win. With so many high quality schools taking part in the Victorian HPV series this would be no mean fete. But it was our passion, commitment and dedication to our HPV program, lead by our amazing students who not only took out race wins in 3 of the 4 rounds, but achieved 2 additional podium finished and our first ever State title by 1 single point. As a team we simply cannot put into words how proud we are to work alongside each and every one of out HPV riders, you have turned a good team into a great team, and most of all, a winning team.
Here's to a successful 2026!

TAKING ON THE BEST AT MARYBOROUGH - A REFLECTION FROM OUR STUDENTS.
In November team Adrenaline and Whiplash took their place in 2025 Energy Breakthrough in Maryborough. An event that went over three days, it was the finale to 12 months of learning, training and competing and we were keen to test ourselves against almost 100 teams. Our event was broken into two days of racing and one for Display Presentation and Scrutineering. A chance to show off a years worth of training, racing, teamwork, academics and technical knowledge.
We kicked off day 1 with scrutineering telling the judges all of the technical areas of the trike. It was great to talk about our work on the HPV's and show off to the judges our 2 amazing vehicles.
After scrutineering we soon had to get ready for our presentation which was telling the judges our story, another chance to share our learning and show how so many different things in our school connect to HPV racing. Our judges were hooked on our story and it was great to show off our work. Some topics that we spoke about were,
nutrition, feast program, tryouts, connecting with industry, 3D printing and mathematics.
After this it was time to go racing, and that's what we love, for 2hrs we qualified with Archie setting a new school record qualifying 4th for the main race.
It was finally time to get ready and start pedalling! In almost perfect conditions our teams rose to the occasion putting in some monster laps and race runs with many students racing at speed for over 1hr at times. After 2 days our teams came home 6th and 13th, and with our 6th place finish, the highest ever race result for our school.
Thankyou to everyone who made our team as special as it was, we couldn't do it without you all. See you on track next year.
Chloe, Hannah, Hayley, Abbey, Lewis.

OUR NEXT GEN RIDER SEARCH IS ON
We have been overwhelmed with the amount of students who have put their hand up for an introduction to HPV session. Thanks to everyone who has taken part so far, we will get to everyone. Over the break we will be looking at refining our new tryout program ready to share with you all when our 2026 tryout sessions officially open. Over the holidays, ride those bikes, do some leg exercises and build your fitness up as much as possible to give yourself the best chance to join our elite racing team!
