The Kaadadjiny Hub

What another busy term in the library! I have loved seeing students filling the spaces, reading, exploring new resources, and playing games. Week 7 is the last week of borrowing for the year. Weeks 8 and 9 are for returns only.Ā

Where’s Wally? has claimed the number one spot as this term’s most-read book, closely followed by the ever-popularĀ Dog Man: Brawl of the Wild.Ā

šŸ“šSchool Holidays Are Nearly Here!

As the school holidays approach, it’s a great time to keep young minds curious and engaged. Many of our local community libraries are offering free events, including story times, craft sessions, book clubs, and school-holiday programs for all ages.

Ā

I encourage families to check out the Serpentine-JarrahdaleĀ Library and Armadale Library for schedules and activities—these events are a wonderful way to keep children reading, learning, and having fun throughout the break. Best of all most of them are for FREE. Plus, it’s the perfect chance to discover new books and explore everything our community libraries have to offer!

šŸ“š Time to Return Library Books!

As the end of year approaches, I kindly remind everyone to return any borrowed library books including overdue class novels. Returning items on time helps me to ensure resources are in great condition for next year. Please take a moment to check your emails, and with your children about their library borrowings. Unreturned library books may result in a replacement fee being charged.Ā

Ā

Thank you for helping us keep our library collection complete and ready for next year!

Till next time, happy reading!
