What's on at our College

Constable Care Safety School
Our Year 3 students had an amazing time at the Constable Care Safety School! The day was filled with laughter and hands-on learning as they discovered the importance of bike and road safety in a fun, interactive setting. Students loved riding bikes through a realistic, yet safe road network, complete with everyday hazards. This practical experience gave them the confidence and skills to make smart choices and stay safe on our roads. What a fantastic way to learn while having fun!

Success Stories of Year 11 Students’ Workplace Learning
Salvado Catholic College is proud to celebrate the achievements of four Year 11 students who recently completed their Workplace Learning placements across a diverse range of industries. Each student demonstrated maturity, enthusiasm and a commitment to developing real-world skills that will support their future pathways.
Emma Wagener completed her placements with Riding for the Disabled Australia and Trot On Riding School, where she provided valuable assistance to instructors and supported riders participating in therapeutic and recreational horse-riding programs. Emma embraced every task with compassion and positivity, making a meaningful contribution to both organisations.
Arianah Dorain undertook her placement at Armadale Primary School, working alongside Education Assistants in multiple classrooms. Arianah showed patience, creativity and a genuine care for younger students, quickly becoming a trusted support for staff and children alike. Her experience has inspired her to pursue Education Assistant certificates in the future.
Brian Francis completed his Workplace Learning at Juniper, where he assisted staff in supporting residents with their daily activities. Brian demonstrated empathy, respect and strong interpersonal skills, forming positive connections while gaining invaluable experience in the aged care sector.
Liam Davies explored a new and exciting industry through a hands-on experience at The Butchers Hook butchery. During his four-hour experience, Liam impressed staff with his attitude, eagerness to learn and willingness to try something new. His efforts have led to the possibility of casual summer employment at the butchery.
We congratulate Emma, Arianah, Brian and Liam on representing Salvado Catholic College with such pride and professionalism. Their efforts reflect the College’s commitment to preparing students for life beyond school and encouraging them to explore their strengths and future pathways.
