Our students have had a fun and eventful Book Week enjoying author visits where they listened to stories, asked thoughtful questions and learned more about the writing process. 

Thank you to our generous families for supporting our yearly book swap where we raised $282 for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. 

The students are also looking forward to participating in the whole school reading event with their buddies tomorrow. 

Our annual Book Week Parade today was full of colour and smiles and was a great time to celebrate reading. We extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing parent community for taking time out of their day to join us. We loved seeing the vibrant costumes and enthusiastic participation from all of our students and staff.

A special congratulations to all of our Marilyn Cosgrove Award nominees and to our overall and deserving winner, Thomas Bukalan. This award recognises students who show a strong love of reading and writing.
