On Thursday 15 August, Josh and Liv from the First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria came out to EMC to talk to Koorie students and allies. The first half of the workshop was an update on the Treaty process and Youth Voice. The second half was Koorie students only, who did a deeper dive into leadership and voice.
The Assembly will negotiate a statewide Treaty covering statewide matters, and will also empower the diverse Traditional Owner groups in Victoria to negotiate Treaties that reflect specific aspirations and priorities in their areas.

On Wednesday 28 August, to celebrate the completion of 13 years formal schooling, KESOs invited family and friends to join them for afternoon tea with other Koorie students and families from the Bayside Peninsula Area at Nairm Marr Djambana.
