The Department of Education has partnered with the Australian Centre for Career Education for another year to offer all Year 9 students access to the My Career Insights program, which includes the use of the Morrisby Profiling Tool. This valuable program is designed to help students:
Discover the skills and abilities they can bring to a job.
Explore career options that align with their abilities, interests, and personality.
Learn which subjects they need to pursue their desired careers.
As part of this program, Year 9 students will:
Complete Online Questions & Quizzes:
Students will complete this on the Morrisby website during sessions 1 & 2 on Wednesday, 16th October.
Receive a Personalized Report:
After completing the assessments, your child will receive a Morrisby Profile Report. This report will highlight their strengths and interests and suggest possible career and study options.
Have a Career Advisor Meeting:
Your child will have a 30-minute meeting with a Morrisby-trained professional Careers Practitioner, who will explain the report and help them understand their potential career pathways. These meetings will be scheduled between Monday 28th of October and Friday 1st of November.
Parents can attend this appointment with their student however, this must be arranged with the college in advance.
Consent is required for your student to participate in this event – an event will appear on your student Compass to approve.

The Teen Vibes Weekend is all about empowering young women through engaging activities and personal growth. This program offers a safe and supportive environment where teens can learn, grow, and thrive.
By the end of the weekend, participants will have enhanced their ability to communicate, resolve conflicts, build self-confidence, manage stress, and much more. They'll leave with a stronger sense of self-worth, a deeper understanding of their personal strengths, and a feeling of belonging to a supportive and inclusive community.
We have 20 fully subsidised spots available for those who need financial assistance, and 30 fee-paying spots for those who can contribute.
