At Mother Teresa Primary School, we are committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where every child is supported to achieve success. Throughout the year, our teachers carefully plan, implement and review adjustments to meet the individual learning, social, emotional and wellbeing needs of students. These adjustments may include differentiated teaching, classroom accommodations, wellbeing supports, assistive technology and/or targeted interventions.

At times, just like a GP may seek advice from a specialist to better understand and support a patient, educators may also seek advice from external professionals to better understand and support a child's learning, wellbeing, development or individual needs.

When additional advice or support is required, our school may make a referral through ROSAE (Record of Student Adjustment and Evaluation). This process enables our school to seek guidance from appropriate external services and professionals so that we can strengthen the adjustments and support we provide for your child at school.

We work in partnership with families throughout this process. Parent/carer consultation and consent are sought before a referral is made, and families are kept informed as we work together to identify the best ways to support their child's needs.

Our goal is always to work collaboratively with families and professionals to ensure that every child is supported to learn, grow and thrive.
