Fete 2026: Mid-Year Committee Update!
Hello School Community!
Our Fete Committee met this week on June 17th to lock in some exciting updates for the Fete 2026 initiative. Plans are shaping up beautifully, and we can’t wait to bring our community together for an incredible day.
Here is what you need to know this month:
Key Fete Updates
- The Food & Fun Lineup: We are thrilled to announce that a pizza van has been officially approved for the day! We are also exploring some delicious, refreshing mocktails and alcohol-free beverage options.
- Important Site Changes: Please note that the kindergarten space will not be available for the fete this year. Instead, we will be making full use of the vibrant space at the front of Glenhuntly Road.
- An Alcohol-Free Event: To keep this a safe, inclusive, and family-friendly day for all of our students, alcohol will not be permitted on-site.
- Going Mostly Cashless: To make transactions smooth and secure, we will have additional EFTPOS terminals available and are working towards a largely cashless fete.
Save the Date: Volunteer Call-Out in August!
An event of this size belongs to all of us, and we can’t do it without your energy! Our official volunteer recruitment campaign will launch in late August. We will be looking for parents, carers, and friends to lock in short, easy shift blocks. Keep an eye out for role descriptions and sign-up details coming next term!
How You Can Help Right Now: Silent Auction & Donations
Our Silent Auction page is officially live and we are ready to fill it with amazing prizes! We are also starting to plan our community donation stalls.
We are looking for donations of toys and books, but we would also love for you to donate
your unique skills, time, or talents.
Do you run a business, have a unique hobby, or possess a skill you could share? Here are some fantastic ways you or your business can contribute to the auction or fete:
- Food & Drink: Offer a cooking class (baking, pasta making, Italian, Indian, etc.)
- Wellness & Beauty: Gift a massage or facial voucher (if you're a qualified therapist), offer personal training sessions, a small-group yoga/pilates class, or a kids/mums blow-dry and hair-styling party.
- Sport & Adventure: Donate a private tennis, golf, or swimming lesson; a surfing session; a kids' sports coaching clinic; or even a fishing or boat trip.
- Creative & Arts: Gift a workshop or lesson in pottery, watercolour, jewellery making, or music (guitar, piano, singing). Family portrait photography sessions are also highly popular!
Professional Skills: Offer a 30–60 minute session for career coaching, resume review, financial planning consultation, legal advice, a small-business social media audit, or an interior styling consultation.
If you have a items, a service, or an experience you can contribute, please reach out to the committee or the Pfc email: caulfieldps.pfc@gmail.com.
Thank you for your ongoing support—let's make Fete 2026 our best one yet!
