Year 3/4 students explored the vibrant artworks of Romero Britto and created their own inspired masterpieces. Romero Britto is a Brazilian artist, painter, serigrapher, and sculptor whose distinctive style combines elements of cubism, pop art, and graffiti. His work is known for its bold patterns, bright colours, and joyful imagery, which express themes of hope, dreams, and happiness.
Our students embraced Britto’s unique artistic approach, using vivid colours and creative designs to produce their own wonderful artworks.
Enjoy some of the fantastic creations by our Year 3/4 students!

A Memorable Performance at the Box Hill Japan Festival
On Sunday, May 24, at the Box Hill Japan Festival, the students from the Taiko Club and the Choir Club gave wonderful performances.
The Taiko Club was divided into two groups and performed Arashi and Buchiawase Daiko, while the Choir Club sang Do-Re-Mi from The Sound of Music.
In particular, the Taiko Club students had only just begun practicing in the first term. Considering that they had only one 20-minute practice session during lunchtime each week, it was truly impressive that they were able to prepare the pieces so well and deliver such strong performances.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the parents, teachers, and members of the CPS community who supported us and attended the festival. Your presence and encouragement made the event even more special for our students.
We look forward to continuing our practice and working toward our next performance.
Tommy Lahiff Cup AFLW
Congratulations to our very first girls AFLW team who proudly represented CPS at the Tommy Lahiff Cup on Thursday, 19th June, at Port Melbourne.
The girls were fantastic throughout the day, demonstrating outstanding teamwork, sportsmanship and determination. A special mention goes to our team captains, Lucy S and Aki M, for their excellent leadership both on and off the field. Congratulations to Aki M, who was named Most Valuable Player for her fearless performance and commitment during the competition.
We are incredibly proud of all our girls for their amazing team spirit, support of one another and the way they represented our school. Well done, girls!
