Competing against experienced school and club crews from across Victoria, our students demonstrated outstanding grit, teamwork, and school spirit in their debut outing.

Heats Results:

  • Female Beginner Coxed Quad Sculls – 2nd place
  • Female C-Grade Coxed Quad Sculls – 4th place

A huge congratulations to our rowers on this fantastic start!  Special thanks to Mr Wynstan Gilbert, our MAG Rowing Squad coach, as well as the dedicated staff and families who continue to support the team.

This weekend, the crew heads to Lake Nagambie for the Foot of the Goulburn—a 5.2 km time trial where they’ll aim to build on their strong start. Best of luck, rowers!

Strong Teamwork at Campaspe Primary Basketball Tournament

This week, our school took part in the annual Campaspe Primary School Basketball Tournament. With our Year 6 students away on camp, we were excited to give our Year 5 and Year 4 students the opportunity to represent the school. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams showed incredible teamwork, determination, and school spirit throughout the day.

After some strong early wins, both teams made a valiant effort to reach the semifinals but narrowly missed out on progressing to the final. We are extremely proud of their sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and the way they supported each other on and off the court.
