All Saints/All Souls Chapel

Last week, our primary students participated in a Chapel service wonderfully led by our Year 5 students, with a focus on All Saints Day. This provided an opportunity to explore the call to live for Jesus with gratitude, using our gifts, skills, and abilities to love God and others. Students also learnt about the Christian author C.S. Lewis, who used his love and gift of writing to entertain and point others to Jesus.

In the lead-up to All Souls Day, students will have the opportunity to light a candle and pray for a loved one who is unwell or in memory of someone who has died. This will take place at lunchtime on Thursday, 30 November, and is completely voluntary.

Friends of Faith

It has been wonderful to have the support of parents, grandparents, and community members this year through our Friends of Faith. They meet twice each term to pray for our school and also assist through volunteering, such as serving as HSC readers and scribes.

If you would like to join us or be added to our communication list, please connect via email at tbowles@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au or by phone through reception.

For those who would like to join together with others to pray for our school community, we will meet at the main reception at the following times:

  • Thursday, 6 November at 8:30 am
  • Thursday, 27 November at 5:00 pm (Afternoon tea will be provided for our final gathering for 2025)

In the Parish – Teen Bible Study

Come to the Christ Church Echuca Narthex (500 High St.) for a one-hour Bible study on Heroes and the Bible.

We will explore the Bible together and also look at stories about heroes from other cultures.

This study will focus on the big story of the Bible — God's rescue plan, how the Bible fits together, and why we can trust it. We will also explore stories of heroes in other cultures, including current superheroes from the Marvel and DC universes.

  •  Every Sunday afternoon in November (2,9,16,23,30 November)
  • 2:00 PM

Kind regards,

Rev. Tim Bowles
