Cleaner

Do you know someone who could be interested in joining our fabulous Cleaning team?

We have a part-time position available, of approximately 20 hours per week, with some flexibility around days and hours.  Please share this opportunity within your networks.

Trivia Fundraising Night

We have had a wonderful response to our Fundraising Trivia Night, which will be held on Friday 14 November at the Moama Bowling Club.  We have a limited number of individual tickets available (tables of 10 are now sold out).  Please book online or contact Hannah from our Communications team if you would like to join a mixed table.  Thanks to all the families and businesses who have generously donated prizes for our fundraising event.  Your support is greatly appreciated.  We are looking forward to a night of fun, friendly competition and community – while raising funds for our Multi-Purpose Stadium.

Annual Student Awards

It is the time of year that we begin planning for our Student Presentation Assemblies and Awards.  If you or your business would like to consider sponsoring an award, please contact me either via phone or email.  We are looking forward to recognising student achievement and celebrating the dedication, hard work and diverse talents of our students.

Multi-Purpose Stadium Update

The Multi-Purpose Stadium is now ahead of schedule, with most works likely to be completed prior to Christmas. The timber flooring has arrived, ready for installation after Cup Weekend. During January and February, the retractable seating, which will accommodate more than 1,000 people, will be installed.

Students are now enjoying the extended grassed area adjacent to the Stadium. Unfortunately, the cooler weather delayed access, but it is great to see the students now happily playing in the new space.

Vehicle Access through the Recreation Reserve

Murray River Council has requested that we remind our school community that the internal tracks within the Recreation Reserve are not intended for regular vehicle use. If access is required, vehicles must travel at no more than walking pace.

Increased vehicle movement presents potential safety risks for community members and their dogs who regularly use the area for recreation. Please help by avoiding driving on these tracks.

Please also note that, from Monday 27 October, Council will be closing the road between Jack Eddy Oval and the Moama Dog Park for approximately one week. During this time, road repairs and resurfacing works will be undertaken.

Kind regards,
