Learning and Curriculum Primary - Stage 3

Year 6 Open Classrooms 

It was wonderful to welcome so many families into our Year 6 classrooms for our Open Classrooms last week. Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and family members who took the time to join us and share this special opportunity to see learning in action. 

The Open Classrooms provided a wonderful opportunity for students to proudly share their learning, explain their thinking, and showcase the progress they have made throughout the year. It was particularly pleasing to see students confidently engage with their families and take ownership of their learning. 

Special congratulations to our Year 6 students on the wonderful standard of work they presented. Their effort, creativity, perseverance and growing independence were evident throughout the classrooms. The pride they showed in their learning was a wonderful reflection of the commitment they bring to their learning each day. 

Thank you once again to our families for your ongoing support and partnership. Having you present in our classrooms reinforces to students that their learning matters. It was a pleasure to share this experience with you. 

Staff Development Day – Monday 12 October  

Stage 3 staff will be engaged in a professional development opportunity on the first day back in Term 4 in readiness for the implementation of the Science and Technology Syllabus next year. Please see the Parent and Carer Guide for further information. We look forward to updating you further regarding this curriculum change.
