Class 7 News

Welcome back Class 7!  

We have been busy getting to know our own bodies through the Human Biology Lesson taught by Katie Frey.  We started learning about our skin and all the amazing things our largest organ does for us.  Moving from the skin, we have studied balance from the bottoms of our feet to the insides of our ears.  In the attached pictures, you can see that we learned how and where to find the pulse in our own bodies and that of our teacher.  Next we will be learning to understand our breathing and our total lung capacity, followed by digestion and nutrition.  We will soon be interviewing our parents to learn our very own birth story.

In PE, Class 7 has been busy learning and executing some badminton play.  After learning the rules, the class is involved in a round robin tournament where each player has a go playing each other.  Learning how a tournament is set up and executed has been great fun!
