We’re delighted to be starting a new weekly initiative: Cuppa Time, held every Friday morning at drop-off in the Hall.
Cuppa Time is a simple, welcoming space for parents, carers and friends of the school to pause, connect, and enjoy a cuppa together at the start of the day. No agenda, no rush — just a chance to build community. Our first Cuppa Time will be a special one, with an opportunity to meet Pep, our new Interim Principal.
Everyone is welcome — whether you can stay for five minutes or fifty. We’d love to see you there.
📍 Where: The Hall🕗
When: Fridays (from Feb 20), at drop-off☕
Bring: Yourself (we’ll bring the cuppa!)

🎒 Use your head — stay on the red!
🚫 Don’t go astray — don’t walk on the grey!
(For new families: “red” refers to the red-coloured paths.)
🚶♀️ Walk only on the red paths — please don’t walk or run across the middle of the car park.
👀 Use the paths provided, even when you don’t have your children with you. It can be difficult for drivers to see pedestrians while reversing.
🌟 Set a great example for all students by following the rules.
⚠️ PLEASE SLOW DOWN — car park speed limit is WALKING PACE ONLY!
⛔ Do NOT leave your vehicle running.

Desert Rose Playgroup - Desert Rose Playgroup at The Alice Springs Steiner School offers a gentle, nurturing introduction to Early Childhood.
Through free play, stories, song, rhythm and time outdoors, children are supported to grow with confidence, imagination and a sense of belonging.
