School Library News

Dear families and carers,

Welcome back to school! The library has been filled with children keen for a game of chess or a quiet reading space at lunchtimes.  Class 2 students especially are enjoying their new access to the library and are familiarising themselves with where to find their favourite books, how to borrow them and how to take care of the books and the space.

For those unfamiliar, the library is open until 3pm Monday – Wednesday if any parents or carers wish to borrow books.   Please feel free to stop in at school pick-up time.  

A kind request for those who borrowed books over the summer break (or earlier!) to please return them as soon as possible.  Returns can be placed on the library desk at lunch times Monday – Friday, or brought in after school Monday – Wednesday. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if any books have been misplaced or damaged, or if you child needs more time to finish reading them.
