Library and Resource Centre

With our new Year 7 cohort settling in so well, I would like to acknowledge Vivian Kerr who has been borrowing profusely from the Library since her arrival this Term.

Our Library Management System will automatically let us know when a student has reached a certain number of borrowed books and the fact these loans are returned in a timely manner.

This week Vivian is our first Year 7 student to reach this level of borrowing.

Well done Vivian, as our Library system let us know, you are a “Reading Rockstar.”

I was recently invited to a shared lunch given by Mrs Helen Wilken and her VCE VM Personal Development students. 

The purpose of sitting down together over a shared meal was to learn and acknowledge the importance of manners, conviviality and how to conduct oneself politely in company especially when it comes to dining.   Never underestimate the power of good manners.

From cutlery placement, generosity in sharing, good conversation and table manners, the students, under Mrs Wilken’s exemplary guidance, were a pleasure to dine alongside and I thankyou all sincerely.
