2026 National Futsal Championships - State Representation
Josh Rughoobur (Year 9) and Chernet Adguna (Year 8) were selected to represent Western Australia through Football West at the 2026 National Futsal Championships held on the Gold Coast.
Although neither team took out the title, both students represented WA with great pride and thoroughly enjoyed the high level and intensity of the competition. Josh’s team narrowly lost in the semi-final, 5–4 against Canberra, while Chernet’s team made it to the final and were defeated 1–0.
An outstanding effort from both students and a fantastic achievement to represent the state at a national level.
