The Kaadadjiny Hub

I am excited to kick off a brand-new year of reading, learning, and discovery with all our students, families and staff. The library is more than just books—it’s a space to explore ideas, spark creativity, and grow as readers and thinkers.
📖 New Arrivals
New books have been added across all sections of the Hub. Fresh fiction, graphic novels, nonfiction, and young adult (YA) books have been purchased to encourage reading not only for pleasure but to support classroom learning. From adventure stories to STEM topics, there’s something for everyone.
🏫 Library Programs & Activities
Personal challenges
Primary Scholastic Book Club
Makerspace and creativity days
Special literacy events like Book Fair
I am always excited to keep our library growing and engaging for every student. Students are warmly invited to share ideas and suggestions for new books, authors or activities you would love to see in the Hub - whether it’s a favourite series, a new release, or a craft activity - all suggestions will be taken into consideration and implemented if appropriate.
Library Rules and Responsibilities
To help keep our library running smoothly and ensure everyone can enjoy our collection, please follow these important guidelines. Students must have their library bag to borrow books—no library bag, no borrowing (for primary students). This helps protect our books while they travel to and from school. Please take good care of all borrowed items and return them on time. If a book is damaged or lost, contact me Kate.hendriks@cewa.edu.au as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue. Please note that payment may be required for books that are lost or damaged beyond repair. Thank you for helping us look after our library.
Let’s make 2026 a year filled with curiosity, kindness, and great stories. I can’t wait to see you in the Hub!
Till next time, Happy reading.
