Delany & Moore House Celebration Day

On Tuesday 23 April Delany House students celebrated 'Delany Day'.

The staff and students met at St Mary's Church in Echuca followed by a shared lunch in the Parish Hall.

The purpose of the day was to come together and share Mass and also reflect on the life of Daniel Delany. The students were encouraged to 'do the ordinary things extraordinarily well' and to be the best version of themselves in everything they do.

I would like to thank and commend the students for their positive attitude and the way that they participated in the Mass and shared lunch.

On Tuesday 23 April, Moore House gathered to celebrate a Liturgy and shared lunch.

Our wonderful students from both Campuses lead the Liturgy of the Word. They read from passages including Isaiah 55: 10-11, Psalm 64(65): 10-14, and the Gospel according to Matthew (13: 1-9). It was a reflective experience for everyone, with Mother Benedict Moore's values at the forefront of our celebration.

After the Liturgy, we made sure to snap a group photo. The smiles on everyone's faces said it all – it was a moment of pride and joy!

Then it was time to head to Hopwood Gardens for lunch. The delicious food, good friends, and beautiful Murray River backdrop provided the perfect combination.  It was a delight to see students across all year levels chatting and enjoying each other’s company.

We want to extend a sincere thank you to all the Moore students and staff who participated so respectfully in our annual Moore Day event.
