EMTC - Into the Woods
Echuca-Moama Theatre Company is once again bringing the magic of musical theatre to our twin towns, and this year's production of Into the Woods features a fantastic cast of our own school community members.
We're thrilled to see both teachers and Year 11 students taking the stage in this beloved show.
Leading the charge from our faculty is Honni Goulding, who stars as Jack's Mother.
Alongside her, teacher Maddie Mills has the challenge of double duty, playing both Granny and Cinderella’s Mother.
On the student front, Claire Colturi brings a touch of mischief to her role as Lucinda, one of Cinderella’s stepsisters.
Joining her is Georgia Armstrong, who takes on the role of Rapunzel, with a voice and head of hair you have to hear and see to believe.
Alice Waters is set to charm audiences with her role as Gretel, while Sam Serpell and Poppy Coombs are delightful as Wood Nymphs, using their dance skills to bring an enchanting touch to the forest scenes.
Into the Woods is a unique musical that intertwines the plots of several fairytales, exploring what happens when wishes come true, but with unexpected consequences.
Tickets for the show are already selling fast, so be sure to book yours for the chance to support our school's budding actors.
Into the Woods will run for a strictly limited season, with only five shows performed at the Echuca Paramount from May 30 to June 2, 2024.
Tickets are available at the Paramount or at www.echucaparamount.com/movie/emtc-presents-into-the-woods
