Performing Arts

Life in Performing Arts continues to be busy and fulfilling!
Students are progressing well in their lessons, developing their skills and talents. Students are working hard so they can perform to you all.
The Grade 2 and 3 Ukulele students are preparing to perform a couple of songs to share. Their ability to strum clear notes with good finger placement is very impressive.
Great work everyone!
The Grade 4 and 5 Flute students are learning to play with good articulation.
They are looking forward to playing some duets for you all!

The Grade 4 students have displayed their wonderful knowledge of the names of the notes and their values in a music table. What fabulous work!
The Year 5 & 6 students Rock Band arerehearsing for their performance at the Week 10 Assembly. Stay tuned to rock out!
The Year 6 students learnt an African syncopated echo song, 'Toomba Ee Lero.' Students sang it through the first time as an echo response, learning the melody then played and sung the responses on keyboard and tuned percussion.
