Principal's Message

Linda Buckeridge: Principal

Madagascar Jnr - The Musical

OH WOW!!!!!!

What a show we saw on Monday night at Bunjil Place! I am the proudest Principal going around I would say! Our students were absolutely phenomenal. Everyone had worked so hard to bring the show to life, and woweeee did they achieve greatness! I don't know how they can follow that in 2027!!

A huge thank you to all families and students for your enthusiasm and persistence in preparing for the big show. I would also like to extend my utmost gratitude to our team of staff that pulled Madagascar Jnr together, with work commencing in 2024 to ensure such a high quality performance. A special mention goes to Mrs Carmen Collins and Mrs Lisa Scott. Your dedication to seeing our students succeed and have one of the most memorable moments in their lives is incredibly admirable. I can't wait to see the video recording!

If you would like to buy a copy of the recording, they are avalible to order through the Compass event.

It was truly an amazing night.

Book Week & Book Fair

We had such a fun day on Monday 18th August to celebrate the start of Book Week. The day started with a whole school parade and despite some very frustrating audio issues, all students paraded their costumes proudly and with enthusiasm. We had some amazing efforts and particular mention goes to Nathaniel in Year 6 for his homemade 3D printed, 5kg heavy, IronMan suit! It was incredibly impressive!! The Principal team enjoyed getting into the swing of things as well, as you will see in the photo below! A bunch of questionable pirates!!

Our open morning saw many families stay and enjoy Book Week themed activities. It was lovely to see so many of our students spending time in classrooms with the special people in their lives.

And then this week, we have had the Book Fair set up in the library for our students and families to enjoy. The Book Fair ends on Monday 1st September.

Fathers and Special Others

Next week we celebrate our fabulous fathers and special others. We have the stall for purchasing gifts on Wednesday and Thursday and then our whole school Breakfast Club from 8.10am on Friday 5th September. We look forward to sharing some delicious treats with you all. See you there!
