AD HOC Bus Travel

Students wishing to travel on country buses on an ad hoc basis e.g. for football or netball training, need to complete an ad hoc bus application each year. Applications may be approved if there is room on the bus involved. Please collect an application from your school office and complete. They can be returned to your school office or: buses@horsham-college.vic.edu.au

Decisions may take some time at the start of the year until regular numbers are confirmed.

Please include your email on the form so you can be contacted regarding outcome.

CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE

If your student is eligible for conveyance allowance please obtain an application form from the Admin Office.

If you have been receiving the allowance in 2025 you do not need to complete another application.

Eligibility

An application on behalf of a student may be submitted if the student is:

• a Victorian resident;

• school aged and enrolled (3) three or more days per week at a school; and 

• attending a school/campus located outside the Melbourne metropolitan conveyance boundary

• a student who meets the above requirements may be eligible if they: 

• attend their nearest or designated neighbourhood government school/campus appropriate to their year level, at which admission is permissible, or 

• attend their nearest appropriate non-government school/campus appropriate to their year level, at which admission is permissible, and 

• reside 4.8km or more by the shortest practicable route from the campus attended
