Absences & Forms:
If your child is absent at any time throughout the year, we request that you contact the school either via the Absence Hotline on 5381 7200, a signed note or by sending a SEQTA message to the relevant form group teacher. Form group teachers will make contact with families each week if your child has an unexplained absence to ensure your child’s attendance is up to date.
During our extended form group session with the students on their first day, there were some forms handed out regarding local excursions and student expectations. We kindly ask that these be signed by parents/guardians and students, and then returned to the administration office as soon as possible.
Semester 1 Subject Changes:
All students have been asked to familiarise themselves with their new timetables for Semester 1.
If changes to their electives are needed to be made, they have been asked to complete the following:
Book an appointment with the Year 10 team via the Google Doc link (on SEQTA DM) sent out by Matt Nield late last week.
Students will receive a blue pass in Form Group on the day of their appointment.
Students need to attend their appointment (NO changes will be made if student’s miss/don’t attend their appointment).
Students will receive a form stating their subject changes.
Students are to take this form home and have a parent/guardian sign it.
Students bring the signed form back to the Year 10 Office.
Please be mindful that while we are doing our best to accommodate all requested subject changes that some classes are already full, therefore some changes cannot be made.
The last day for subject changes is Friday 6th February.
Lockers:
All Year 10 students are required to have a lock on their locker. Please make sure that if your child does not have a lock that you send one with them to school.
Uniform:
