Year 8 News

Welcome

A big welcome back to school to our Year 8 students. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday period and are returning refreshed and ready to put your best foot forward in 2026.

Students have now received their timetables, been allocated lockers, and have been issued Student Expectations and Local Excursion forms. These forms need to be returned to the Year 8 Office as soon as possible.

Subject Changes

If you need to change any of your subjects, please collect a Subject Change Form from the Year 8 Office. This form must be taken home and completed with your family.

All subject change forms are due back to the office by the end of Week 2. No forms will be accepted after this time.

Hats

Students are reminded that hats must be worn when outside during recess, lunchtime, and outdoor classes such as PE. Students without a hat will be required to sit in the shade.

If a hat has been lost, students can check Lost Property or purchase a replacement from the Front Office. Thank you for supporting our SunSmart school.
