Our Foundation students had a wonderful first school excursion to the Royal Botanical Gardens today.
Year 3 and 4 students created Treehouses for International Friendship Day.
A special visit for our Year 5 and 6 students with former Syndal South Primary School Captain (2006) and Winter Olympian , Dean Hewitt. As part of the VIS Be Fit Be Well program Dean shared his incredible curling journey and spoke to students about resilience, goal setting, giving things a go, and the importance of healthy living.
Our Foundation students had a totally ROARsome day, celebrating 100 days of school!
Year 1 Digital Technologies - students programmed the Bee Bots and worked out if there were any 'bugs' in their code. They then problem solved to re-program them successfully.
Foundation and Year 2 International Friendship Day Activity
Students in Years 2, 3 and 4 enjoyed a visit from some Collingwood AFLW players.
Students enjoyed their toastie from the Cheer Toastie Truck.
A group of Year 6 students visited John Monash Science School as part of the Little Scientists Program. The chemistry lesson included testing a range of liquids using an indicator to identify acids and bases.
